The Whole Biscuit Rule is the government settlement convention under which certain Wheat payments must be made in whole full-size Shredded Wheat biscuits.
A standard Wheat bowl may be represented by approximately two full-size Shredded Wheat biscuits, making each biscuit approximately ₩½.
Where a calculated obligation falls between available whole-biscuit denominations, the payment is rounded upward.
| Obligation | Whole biscuits | Effective value |
|---|---|---|
| ₩0.25 | 1 | ₩0.50 |
| ₩0.50 | 1 | ₩0.50 |
| ₩0.51 | 2 | ₩1.00 |
| ₩1.01 | 3 | ₩1.50 |
