Deep Bearocracy
Deep Bearocracy is the deliberately elaborate administrative and paperwork system of the Glorious Revolutionary Microrepublic of Whaaat!?.
The Republic's materials describe a society of forms, standardized tests, processing stamps, waiting lines, and procedures that often govern whether another procedure may even be requested.
Requesting a form
Under Republic bureaucratic tradition, certain forms may not be requested directly. Form 0-A — Request for Permission to Request a Form must first be completed and approved before an applicant may receive, view, or complete Forms 02 through 10.
Approval grants only the right to request the desired form. It does not guarantee access to the form itself.
Typical processing statuses include:
- Approved — proceed to the desired form
- Denied — please fill out Form 0-A again
- Under Review — estimated 3–5 Harvest Cycles
Checkpoints
The Form 01 checkpoint questionnaire may ask travelers whether they like cereal, whether they hold citizenship in another micro-republic, their views on colors and the Republic, and whether they have ties to government uprisings.
Travelers may be classified as GREEN — WHAAAT Citizen or PURPLE — Rebel Group.
